According to a new report, Apple plans to introduce a foldable iPhone by 2026, according to a new report. The foldable iPhone will resemble the Samsung Galaxy Z flips, folding across its width.
The report states that Apple has moved past the ideation stage and is engaging suppliers in Asia for components. Alongside, a camera upgrade is expected, featuring an adjustable aperture for depth-of-field effects.
As Apple gears up for this innovation, the focus remains on enhancing AI features and cameras in the upcoming iPhone 16 and 17 models. The foldable market is growing, and Apple is set to enter this established arena by 2026.

It is rumored that iPhone Flip will give the facelift to the smartphone market by coming with this clamshell design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip model. Other rumors suggest that it would be available with a 7.5-inch or 8-inch display when unfolded and a conveniently sized small display on the outside. Additionally, the iPhone Flip is speculated to launch with an enhanced version of its Ceramic Shield to attract more eyeballs; this version would focus on durability features and eliminate visible scratches or dents. Style merged with power will undoubtedly result in making the iPhone Flip one of the most eagerly awaited foldable smartphones.
